With the final Ordeal of 2010 in the books, it’s time to look forward to our next events.
First up is the annual Lodge Leadership Retreat, set for December 3-5 at Camp Comer. This is an invitation-only event, designed to introduce the new officers, advisers, and other leadership to their new responsibilities and give them some training to get everyone off on the right foot. If you’re a Lodge Officer, Chapter Chief, Lodge Committee Chairman, or an adviser to any of those positions, odds are that you’re invited. Contact a member of the Key 3 to confirm your invitation, then we’ll see you at camp!
After that is our first-ever Lodge Winter Banquet, set for January 22nd at the Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church (Google Maps). We’ll use this event to present the Founder’s Award, the Red Feather Award, and the Quality Chapter Award. Dinner we’ll be catered and the event is free for everyone to attend. We’ll have more info soon (including an opportunity to RSVP!), so keep an eye out for that. The banquet will replace the Winter Fellowship (and I’ll update the calendar page soon), so please adjust your calendars accordingly.
