This past weekend, we hosted our sixth annual American Indian Seminar. It was an awesome event, with 205 attendees from lodges all across the board. With classes on every type of Native American dance, drumming, regalia making, beading, every ceremony, and even a class on birds of prey what could be better? Don’t forget amazing food, fellowship, a great pow-wow, and a Brotherhood ceremony where 17 brothers sealed their membership! Everyone had a blast, and not a single person complained.
Look out for the event next year in March!
Next and upcoming is Conclave, April 15-17 at Camp Thunder. Pre-registration, despite what’s on the form, is due in by March 25. Conclave is an amazing event where the 12 lodges in our section get together at one camp and do all sorts of great stuff, like dancing, ceremonies, field games, watch movies, and all sorts of stuff! If you’re not registered, then don’t miss out and sign up with this form.
Also, we need articles for the Red Feather Herald, the lodge newsletter. If you have something that you think the lodge needs to hear, please submit an article about it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org before March 25. Limit 1 photo.
