Time to show some Cheerful Service with the Cub Scouts!

by Dylan Clark on October 7, 2013

Arrowmen, as you all know, we in the Order of the Arrow are all about WWW! Coming up this October are Greater Alabama Council’s fantastic Cub Haunted weekends taking place at Camps Sequoyah, Comer, and Westmoreland. These events are very important to the Cub Scouts and their parents – and they need us to help make these events possible!

Every year, as Cub Haunted has grown larger, so has the need for people to volunteer. This year, we’re asking you Arrowmen to come and serve wherever you can – particularly in the kitchen because it needs as much help as it can get! If you’d be willing to come and cheerfully serve in the kitchen, please contact Ms. Marty Jones via e-mail at: almjj@yahoo.com. She and all the Scouters with the Council (including our Staff Adviser) would greatly appreciate your assistance!

For more information about Cub Haunted, make sure to go to 1bsa.org. If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to e-mail webmaster@coosa50.org or message us on Facebook or Twitter. It’s essential that we provide what we can to these Cub Scouts because they’re not just the future of the BSA, but the future of Coosa Lodge!
