Déjà vu: Two weeks ’til Spring Pow-Wow!

by Chris Brightwell on March 12, 2015

Our original date was cancelled due to snow and ice, but Camp Comer has thawed out and the weather seems to be warming up! Let’s try this again, shall we?

The clock is ticking and final preparations are underway for our annual Spring Pow-wow! We’ve re-opened registration, so mark your calendars and come join us at Camp Comer!

Scouts and Scouters of all ages are invited to join us in about two weeks (March 27-29) at Camp Comer to learn a little bit about the Order of the Arrow (OA), participate in the OA’s centennial celebration, and honor the heritage of the American Indian! Guests and newcomers can join alongside seasoned experts to learn about our traditions of American Indian dancing, Order of the Arrow ceremonies, regalia construction, and more.

Over the last two years, more than 1,700 people have been a part of our Spring Pow-wow. If you’ve been to one of these before, you know how much fun it can be.

All packs, troops, and crews will have a special opportunity to camp with us on Friday and Saturday nights. We’ll show a movie on our jumbo screen, under the stars (with free popcorn!) both nights.
