2013 Coosa Lodge Fall Fellowship
On October 4-6, 2013, Coosa Lodge will be hosting its 15th annual Fall Fellowship.
It’s a COOSAPALOOZA!
As our lodge leadership contemplated a follow-up to the wildly successful theme from last year’s Fall Fellowship, “A Very Coosa Christmas”, they all gravitated toward one basic theme: They wanted a carnival. And this is a youth-led organization, so they’re getting a carnival.
So clear your calendar and plan to join us at the 2013 Coosa Lodge Fall Fellowship, celebrating Coosa Lodge with “COOSAPALOOZA” and a one-of-a-kind festival of Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service! If you’re already planning to be there, take a few minutes and find someone to bring with you!
We’ll be electing and installing a new slate of lodge officers and inducting a new class of Vigil Honor recipients. This will also be your first opportunity to pay your dues of 2014, buy a 2014 Event Pass, check out the latest offerings in the always-improving Coosa Lodge Trading Post!
· When: October 4-6, 2013
· Where: Comer Scout Reservation (Click here for a map!)
· Cost: $30 (Free if you have a 2013 Event Pass!)
Coosapalooza will be the biggest party Coosa has ever hosted! To make this happen, we need adult volunteers to help with The Carnival and Sports-Palooza. If you are willing to volunteer, please contact Fellowship Adviser Will Jackson at email@example.com for more information. There will be shifts of referees, game/safety monitors, and Food-Palooza assistants on Saturday morning and afternoon. We request as many volutneers as possible to make the shifts short enough for everyone to enjoy the Palooza!
Don’t forget the Patch-a-Palooza! Coosa will hold it’s annual patch auction on Saturday night. All proceeds go to the Greater Alabama Council campership fund. If you would like to make a memorabilia donation to the auction, please contact Eric Ross at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have been an Ordeal member for ten months, it’s time to seal your membership in the Order by attaining Brotherhood! You can find all of the information you need in our Brotherhood Study Guide(click here for password info) or at the OA JumpStart website. If you’re interested in attaining Brotherhood, talk to the registration staff when you check-in at the Dining Hall. They’ll get you squared away.
