Winter Fellowship

Early each year, in late January or early February, Coosa Lodge hosts an annual training and fellowship event.  Since 2000, we’ve called this the Lodge Leadership Development Conference, or LLDC, despite that it didn’t technically adhere to the National Order of the Arrow Lodge Leadership Development (http://lld.oa-bsa.org/).  Starting with the 2009-2010 Lodge Program Year, we’ve renamed this event the Winter Fellowship.

The purpose is the same:  to gather our members early in the program year to participate in training, share fellowship, and prepare ourselves to execute the full slate of events for that year.  Classes typically include topics such as how to form a ceremony team, how to join Coosa Shows, what to do if you want to be a Lodge officer, and more.

Don’t let the “training” part of this scare you off; this event really lives of to the Fellowship part of its name.  The Winter part might vary, but that’s just part of living in the South.

The 2010 Coosa Lodge Winter Fellowship will be held on January 30th at the Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Gardendale, AL.
